This class offers a guided meditation and journey into the world of Healing and Intuitive Art. Our bodies are wells of wisdom and we have the ability to work with our own energy fields for our health and well-being. Art can help us to solve problems, see new perspectives, be inspired, and simply to quiet our minds and bodies for deeper peace and relaxation. Body Mapping is a method I have used and developed over 25 years that incorporates a multi-stepped process for shifting from "thinking to feeling" in the body and accessing our inner imagistic language in order to communicate and transform areas of pain, stress, and anxiety. The process requires only simple materials - just paper and crayons or oil pastels. Have a journal or other paper and a pen as well for some reflective writing we will do. Absolutely no 'artistic" experience necessary. As long as you have a body and are breathing, you are perfectly designed for this class! Transforming our stress, anxiety, and overwhelm is critical to succeeding in more important goals in our lives! Class will be online via ZOOM and a link and reminder will be sent prior to class. I will be including a handout to print out as well (although you can take the class without it.) To prepare, have your materials ready and find a quiet place you will not be disturbed during the class. Have some water and if you wish to play some soft instrumental music during the activity part of the class, have that ready. Otherwise, we will work in silence. Class will begin with some information and preparation and will include times for creative work, group sharing, and processing the material. NOTE: Class will NOT be recorded.
