Lori has been a social worker for over 30 years, working in family and child services, medical settings, and Youth and Women's Services.  For over 25 years she has been developing classes and programs using "art as a healing tool" with various populations.

Lori completed a two year certification in Therapeutic Touch through Trocaire Nursing College and received her Reiki I and II atonements/certifications many moons ago, along with a number of classes in complementary healing practices over the years.

In 2016, Lori obtained her National Certification in Foot Reflexology through the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) and completed further study to qualify as a Professional Reflexologist of the Reflexology Association of America.  She has continuing education certifications in Thai Reflexology (Karen Ball Method) and Structural Reflexology (studied under Geraldine Villeneuve), and completed the Healthy Foot Instruction Course with body mechanics specialist Katy Bowman to offer classes in foot exercise and care.

Lori offers Inner Fitness Coaching as a supportive service to assist clients with learning self-care skills and wellness techniques to reduce stress and promote healthy living.

More recently, Lori became a certified instructor for Health Rhythms using drumming for healing and self-expression. She is working on her book, The Self-Blessing Ceremony and beginning an Artist in Health Training with Penn State Health this fall.

She devotes the rest of her time to her artwork, family, and her many house plants - and, more recently, her drumming, and sound healing studies.

Head2Toe - Sweet Surrender: After a brief check in, we begin with some breathing and subtle-body energy work to relax the head/mind and focus on the heart to stimulate your body's healing wisdom.   Weighted eye cover and soft music lull you away.  Gentle hand reflexology followed by Subtle body Foot Reflexology follows as your stress melts away and your body relaxes to restorative levels. 120 minute appointment $125

Structural Reflexology: Basic structural reflexology (Villeneuve Method) that addresses foot mechanics, identifies and relaxes tension sites in the feet, supports foot joint mobility, releases muscle and ligament strain in the feet and lower legs, and assists with alignment.  Session is done on massage table, client must lay on back and then on stomach for a portion of the session. 120 minute appointment $125  (Add a Foot Print Assessment $10.)

Thai Reflexology  The ancient art of Thai reflexology (Karen Ball Method) is a protocol-based session that applies pressure and stimulation to the feet and lower legs to produce a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation, and well-being.  Elements of reflexology, Chinese Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu, and Indian Ayurvedi yoga are united.  It works on the feet, lower leg, and knees, freeing up blocked energy in the body’s sen-lines (Thai based meridians). (Session is done on a massage table. There is a portion of the session where the practitioner also sits on the table.  The techniques are gentle.)  90 minute appointment  $90

Reflexology for Hip/Knee/Ankle Support:  Touch Point Method techniques for nerves, muscles, and alignment, addressing pain in the lower extremities.  Some traditional reflexology is incorporated with nerve, spinal, and energy linking techniques.  Some assessment tools and client exercises included.  Client must be on the massage table and client feedback is required.
